Chat and Agent mode

Choose Ask, Plan, or Agent mode and review work safely as Cheqq completes it.

Choose a mode

  • Ask is read-only. Use it to explain, compare, summarize, or inspect without making changes.
  • Plan researches what is available and produces a plan for you to review before execution.
  • Agent can use the tools and connected services available in the current context to complete work.

Change mode from the selector beside the chat input before sending a message.

Write an effective request

State the outcome first, then add constraints, the relevant Wapp or service, and how you will judge success. Attach a file when the task depends on its contents.

For example:

Review the attached vendor list, identify missing contact details, and plan the updates. Do not change any records yet.

Review tool use

Agent mode can ask before tool calls run. The approval control in the chat input lets you choose the available approval behavior. Read the proposed action and its target before approving work that changes data or an external service.

Work from a plan

When Plan mode presents a plan, review its scope and assumptions. Approving the plan switches the conversation to Agent mode and begins the work as tracked tasks.

If a run stalls or returns an error, keep the conversation open and follow Troubleshooting.
